Students from 16 schools in 4 different cities across the country witnessed the launch of the 2010 Music Program. Four schools from LA were selected to participate in the program, including:
Fidelity FutureStage and the LA Philharmonic developed a holiday ecard campaign and for every ecard sent, Fidelity Investments donated $1 worth of new instruments for students. Hollywood Bowl patrons got the opportunity to sign the Fidelity FutureStage signature walls in support of music education. For every signature gathered, Fidelity Investments donates another dollar to provide students with new musical instruments.
Local Fidelity FutureStage student ensembles also performed for the audience pre-concert.
Public school students in five major cities receive new instruments and exposure to the world of professional music.
